Getting a good selfie is one of the ultimate quests of today’s travellers.
Now Australia’s Art Series hotels are getting in on the act, transforming the humble holiday selfie into an art form.
The hotel group’s latest cheeky campaign urges guests to ditch their robes and strike a pose with a new
“No Robe” package.
Guests get to spend time with a camera in the privacy of their hotel room, before a team of artists reworks the image into a work of art.
“Art Series Hotels are passionate about supporting the arts and delivering unique art inspired experiences for our guests and welcoming them with their creativity,” says Art Series Hotels CEO Will Deague.
“The No Robe campaign certainly goes back to the history of the nude form in art and self-expression.
“Lets face it, as long as people have been around, so has nudity. At Art Series we don’t buy into the ‘Nude is Rude’ camp of thinking.
“We want to encourage our guests to dare to be different and bold — to celebrate their individuality and feel liberated in their own skin.
“It’s about stripping away hang-ups and be free — nude or not!”
The Art Series Hotel Group has made a name for its quirky offers, having previously offered guests the chance to stay for free as long as no one else had booked their room.
Will Deague, CEO of Art Series Hotels, said: “Art Series Hotels are passionate about supporting the arts and delivering unique art inspired experiences for our guests and welcoming them with their creativity. The No Robe campaign certainly goes back to the history of the nude form in art and self-expression.”
The No Robe package will be available at Australia’s seven Art Series Hotels in Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide and Brisbane from May 1 to June 15, starting from $229 per night.
