The interview had even the presenters turning red as the family, tactically hidden behind a hay bale, explained their lifestyle.
Doncaster nudists, Carol and Colin Wood, along with their daughter Angie, appeared on Good Morning Britain to explain their unusual lifestyle but viewers found the interview awkward, especially when talk turned to the family having showers together.
From the offset, it had an element of nervousness as even nudist Carol could be seen having a giggle, before husband Colin got into his stride answering Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid.
Viewers were left red-faced as the family shared why they chose their lifestyle: "it's enjoyable, you're not struggling to change your clothes in a small tent...I've had many ladies go with me in a Landrover across the field, there's a trust that isn't there in other societies."
He even added: "It's convenient, you can go for a shower as a family."
When Richard asked if the family ever felt judged, they were quick to set the record straight about their personal feelings on body image.
Colin continued: "no, not at all, if you begin naturism, you're already happy with your body.
"The young people, who have as near to perfect bodies as possible, they're frightened and keep covered up.
"But as you get older, bodies go out of shape and you're quite happy in yourself."
Wife Carol and daughter Angie remained silent through the interview.
Viewers quickly commented: "How torturous is GMB this morning? This nudist interview has to be the worst ever shown on live TV.
"How not to do a live interview.
Another backed the comment up: "Am I the only one who thought the nudist interview was like pulling teeth and beyond awkward ?
#GMB"
Others could understand why nudism is on the rise, writing: "I take my hat off to the nudists on GMB.
"Clothes are becoming more hassle as I get older."
One added: "I'd go nudist, why not."
